Bubble tea menu for a new café: the drinks that sell

Planning a bubble tea menu? Start with the flavours cafés already reorder — creamy milk teas, brown sugar boba, fruit teas with popping boba and a coffee boba — and keep the toppings shared. This guide links each drink to its published recipe, lists the starter stock, and shows our ready-made Menu Plug-In.

The short answer

A new café's bubble tea menu works best when it is built around the drinks people already order: one or two creamy milk teas, a brown sugar drink, a fruit tea with popping boba, and a coffee boba for the café crowd. Pick a few flavours that share the same toppings, so one stock of tapioca pearls and popping boba serves the whole menu.

How we chose these drinks

These are the flavours our café and home customers have reordered most on our website over the last twelve months: taro premix, classic black tapioca pearls, ube syrup, chocolate popping boba, brown sugar and pandan syrups, mango and strawberry popping boba, Thai milk tea and matcha. Each drink below links to its published recipe or method. Where a recipe card is not on the site yet, quote its Recipe ID and we send the full card.

Fruit teas with popping boba

Fruit teas sell well in summer and to customers who do not want a milky drink. Mango, strawberry, lychee and blueberry popping boba are our steadiest fruit flavours, and chocolate popping boba sells to dessert and shake menus.

  • Mango passion popping tea — recipe (TP-SIG-0019).
  • Mango cloud popping milk tea — a creamy-fruity crossover: recipe (TP-POP-0014).

Coffee boba for the café crowd

A coffee drink with pearls brings in customers who would never order a milk tea. Start with the Dirty Pandan Latte (TP-DIRT-0007); the boba coffee guide shows three ways to serve it, with or without an espresso machine.

Starter stock for a new menu

If you would rather not build a menu from scratch, our Menu Plug-In adds a ready-to-serve beverage line-up to an existing café, tea shop, restaurant or kiosk. You choose a menu; we send the opening stock, ready-to-use menus (A4 and table-top menus, danglers, a standee), branding and service tools (branded cups and sleeves, aprons, measuring spoons, a frother), and the recipes and SOPs your staff follow from day one.

Beyond bubble tea, the Menu Plug-In covers the rest of a café menu: hot milk tea, decoctions and green teas, hot coffee, hot milk mixes, and shakes, mocktails and lemonades.

See the Menu Plug-In menus → or use the form below and tell us your café type and city.

Tips for a menu that sells

  • Share toppings across drinks. One pearl and two or three popping boba flavours keep stock simple and waste low.
  • Keep one safe choice. Chocolate or classic milk tea for first-timers sits next to the bolder taro, ube and pandan.
  • Offer hot and iced. Most milk teas in the recipe series have a hot version for winter and monsoon.
  • Add an upsell. Cheese foam, an extra topping or a larger cup lifts the bill without a new ingredient.
