What is Coffee nata de coco?

Bold, aromatic coffee coconut-jelly cubes with a satisfying caffeine-inspired bite. It is a topping rather than a drink base: the cubes go into the cup and the finished drink is poured over them, alongside a premix or a tea.

Do I need to cook nata de coco?

No. It is ready to serve: drain the syrup off, spoon the cubes into the cup and pour the drink over them. Rinsing is optional — a quick rinse takes some of the packing sweetness out, which helps when the drink is already sweet.

How much do I use in one drink?

About 40 g per 500 ml cup is the usual portion. It is a topping, so it is judged by eye as much as by weight — enough to be worth drawing up through the straw, not so much that the cup is more jelly than drink.

Does nata de coco contain gelatin?

No. It is made without gelatin, and the facility holds HALAL certification. The jelly is set by fermentation rather than with an animal-derived gelling agent, which is why it suits menus that gelatin-based jellies cannot.

How long does it keep, and does it need refrigerating?
